A vice president of the China National Machine Industry Corp (Sinomach), Liu Jingzhen, attended the press conference of the 13th China International Machine Tool & Tools Exhibition (CIMES), in Beijing, on April 6. The exhibition, sponsored by Sinomach and its subsidiary China National Machine Tool Sales and Technical Service Corp, and Hurco’s subsidiary in China (Hurco is an American machine tool sales and technical service company headquartered in Indianapolis), will be held on June 22-26.

Liu said at the conference that CIMES has become the world’s largest such exhibition in succession to the EMO in Germany, and the IMTS in the United States over the past 24 years of effort. CIMES aims to enhance the production efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises, and, as Asia’s leading machine tool exhibition for metal cutting tools and CNC machine trade, to showcase the very latest high-end metalworking and industrial automation technology.

As the main sponsor of CIMES 2016, Sinomach will use its advantages to publicize the exhibition to a larger audience. Liu Jingzhen said that CIMES 2016 will continue to promote its function and value as a world machine tool trade platform to make it an international event supporting economic sharing and industry cooperation.
